670+ interactive VR modules

Veative is proud to offer educators the world’s largest library of standards-aligned, immersive and interactive VR content. Educators can choose and assign grade and subject appropriate interactive content, focused on the key concepts in their curriculum. Students learn by doing and can experience extraordinary locations or environments without the need to leave their desks.

Virtual reality content comes in two flavours, and it is important to understand what this means, and the pros and cons of each type. A filmed environment, with a 360 camera, is a fairly easy way to create content, and offers a photo-realistic view.

Two main drawbacks are that you are limited to the position of the camera, which means you cannot move inside the environment, and the file sizes are exceedingly large. A created environment means that everything you see has been made by modellers and animators.

These won’t be as life-like, but they will allow for more interactions, and the scene can be entered, and items can be manipulated. There is also a drastic savings with respect to file sizes. Let’s take a look.

Real VR solutions for SCHOOLS

Connecting students with complex concepts, in virtual reality

Interested in learning outcomes and positively affecting education?

Then you have come to the right place. We are teachers focused on improving learning outcomes and absolutely put the Ed first, in EdTech. We have created the world’s largest library of interactive, curriculum-aligned learning modules for virtual reality. Incorporating learning objectives, attention to a core concept, and formative assessments into all our modules. Students can learn online and off. From rural, off the grid, schools in Africa, to high-tech private schools in Singapore, we work to affect education equally. Period!

Bought or planning to buy VR headsets, and looking for content?

We may or may not be able to help, depending on your purchase. Whether it is with Veative or not, we can advise you on your next steps. However, we will point out that this is akin to buying a TV and hoping it plays Netflix. In so many ways, the VR itself is meaningless, as it is a gateway to what you wish to achieve. If that headset is not compatible with the thing you wish to achieve, then you are heading down a path fraught with problems. We tell all our customers to figure out what they wish to do first content-wise, then buy the device which will get them going down that path, both for today and for the next few years.
